Risk Management System |

The risk management system is the 'tool box' required to apply the risk management process as outlined in AS/NZS 4360:2004. | The implementation plan outlines the requirements for achieving the risk management strategy. The implementation plan includes key tasks, resource requirements, milestones, outcomes and timelines. |

A Risk Management Plan is a holistic document that is designed to communicate risks and opportunities as a result of a risk assessment, and the strategies in place, or planned, for the management of these. A risk register is designed to document risks identified, risk rating, level of risk, strategy in place to manage the risk and residual risk.

A Corporate Risk Profile is a risk assessment at a strategic level of an organsiation, written at a particular point in time. Many organisations are now choosing, or are required to, develop an annual risk profile and report these to their Board of Directors as part of good corporate governance.
The Corporate Risk Profile lists the risks of not achieving the company's objectives for that period, and strategic opportunities that exist.
